Hello everyone,

My name is Aiori Aquino, and I am from the Philippines. I recently graduated from Ateneo de Manila Senior High School, where I was fortunate to be part of the UAAP Juniors Basketball Team.

For years, I have dreamed of continuing both my education and basketball career in Japan. My ultimate goal is to earn a spot on a Japanese university basketball team, develop as a player, and one day compete in the B.League, Japan’s professional basketball league.

Over the past year, I have worked hard to turn that dream into reality. I reached out to university coaches and players across Japan, prepared my basketball highlight videos, successfully passed my IELTS exam, and have submitted my visa application. I have also been invited to visit several universities and attend basketball practices this August to introduce myself in person and learn more about their programs.

This trip is an important step toward my future. During my stay in Japan, I plan to:

* Visit universities and meet with coaches.

* Participate in basketball practices and training sessions.

* Explore Japanese language schools to prepare for university admission.

* Build relationships that could lead to future opportunities as a student-athlete.

I am raising funds to help cover:

* Airfare

* Transportation within Japan

* Japanese language school expenses

* Daily living expenses during my visit
