We humbly ask for your prayers and support for my mother, who is currently in the PCU and continues to fight her illness.

Since September of last year, she has been diagnosed with IgA vasculitis, an autoimmune condition that weakens the immune system. Because of her weakened immune system, any type of infection can become critical and life-threatening. Since her diagnosis, we have had to go in and out of the hospital several times. However, on July 8, 2026, what we had feared happened. She developed multiple severe and overlapping infections, which led to her being admitted to the ICU for more than a week just a few days ago.

As of now, our hospital bill has exceeded ₱3 million, and her HMO coverage has already been fully exhausted. In order to continue her treatment, we are required to pay 50% of the total hospital bill. Her medications, laboratory tests, and other medical expenses are also costing approximately ₱50,000 per day. At present, our family is doing everything we can to secure guarantee letters and any other form of financial assistance available to us. However, due to the severe weather and the suspension of government offices, our efforts to process these requests have been delayed. We are also currently arranging her transfer to East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City so she can receive stronger and more appropriate antibiotics for her condition at a lower cost, allowing us to sustain her medications and treatment for as long as possible.

As a family, we are going through an incredibly difficult time, and we are humbly reaching out to your kind hearts for any assistance you may be able to give.
