Elay is one of my friends that reach out to me. She is a humble, kind, and intelligent classmate who has always carried herself with kindness and strength. Even though she doesn’t have much in life, she never hesitates to help us whether it’s sharing her knowledge, assisting with schoolwork, or simply being there when someone needs support. She is an honor student who worked hard for everything she has achieved.

But right now, my friend Elay is facing a painful and unexpected situation that she never deserved.

She was recently scammed by someone she trusted for work. All the money she had carefully saved, all the money meant for her college tuition, daily expenses, and important needs was taken from her. After receiving it, the person blocked her and disappeared without returning anything. In an instant, everything she worked so hard for was gone.

To make things even harder, she also lost the savings meant for her medical needs. Elay has skin asthma, a condition that makes her skin extremely sensitive to sunlight. Even short exposure under the sun can cause painful rashes and serious discomfort. Because of this, she needs regular check-up and care, but now she has no means to continue her treatment.

Despite everything, she is still trying to hold on. She still wants to continue college. She still wants to finish her studies and and help her parents. But right now, she cannot do it alone.
