30 Years of Teaching, Now She Needs Us: Help Teacher Alma Heal

I am humbly reaching out to ask for your support for my mother, who has recently gone through a life-changing medical condition.

My mother is a dedicated public school teacher for almost 30 years. She spent her life serving others—educating, guiding, and shaping young minds. Beyond the classroom, she is also a faithful servant in our church, serving as a Sunday School teacher and church secretary, nurturing both young hearts and the ministry.

She also extended her service to the community by working as an instructor for various livelihood programs, helping others gain skills and opportunities to improve their lives.

Now, she is the one who needs help.

She recently suffered a Stroke, which left her with weakness on the left side of her body. During her tests, doctors also discovered a Meningioma, a brain mass that requires further monitoring and possible treatment.

While we were able to bring her home after hospitalization, her journey to recovery is just beginning.

Why we are raising funds

We are raising funds to support her continuous recovery and medical care, including:

-Ongoing medications

-Regular physical therapy to help her regain strength and mobility

-Neurosurgeon consultations for her brain mass

-Possible future procedures ( CT Scans, MRI, etc.) or treatments

-Medical supplies and mobility support (such as a wheelchair and Quad Cane)

I am the sole breadwinner, supporting two senior citizens and a solo-parent to four children, and our financial resources have already been exhausted during her hospitalization.

Your support will not only help cover her medical needs—it will give her a chance to walk again, regain her independence, and continue living with purpose.
