Help Jazon with his hospital bills and medication

Hello everyone.

We are knocking on your kind hearts to help my brother, Jazon, with his hospital bills and medication so they can go home.

As of Sept. 21, his final bill has reached ₱190,154 and they already requested to get discharged to stop additional charges. His health insurance was already deducted from this final billing. They are supposed to write a promissory note so they can go home but the hospital requires a posted dated as a collateral and co-maker. Unfortunately, they don't have a checking account and are living in a different province from the rest of the family, thus we, his siblings, cannot become his co-maker. And despite getting the final bill, they cannot leave the hospital unless the bill is settled or they can get a post dated check and find a co-maker. We were able to apply for PCSO GL, while still waiting for DOH, and his wife is also sick so she hasn't reached out to DWSD yet.

For context, my brother was brought to the hospital on September 14, 2026 when he experienced difficulty in breathing and heart attack like symptoms. Due to severity of his condition, fear for his life, his common law wife decided to bring him to a private hospital. We have asked his wife about the possibility of transferring him to a public hospital; however, the doctor advised that travelling or transferring him at the time could be dangerous.

As per the lab results, his pancreas and kidneys are damaged. He was also diagnosed with an enlarged heart, diabetes which caused his breathing difficulty, and cellulitis which caused a pimple in in his back to be severely infected and needed to undergo surgery to remove necrotic tissues.

On Sept.16th he went into surgery to remove an infected wound on his back.

Additionally, he has to start taking 2 types of insulin (Insulin Glargine and Insulin Aspart) as he developed type 2 diabetes and at least 10 different medications for his other conditions. He is also advised to undergo angiogram to check his heart condition.

We already lost both our parents due to sickness, our papa in 2020 and our mama in 2023, and accrued large debts for their medical and funeral expenses and due to our family history, my siblings and I already have maintenance medications and with the rising costs of living we are living paycheck to paycheck.

Any amount will be a huge help to us with paying the hospital bill, his medications, and medical supplies once he goes home.
