Help a Blind Couple and their Two Young Children Live Safely After Three Typhoons
Campaign Gallery
Two young children—ages 3 and 4—and their blind parents are still living in an unsafe home months after three typhoons severely damaged it.
My name is Bless, a person with visual impairment from Bulacan. I am raising funds for a fellow visually impaired family in Bacolod whose home was severely damaged by Typhoons Tino, Uwan, and Verbena.
During the first typhoon, Tino, a large tree fell onto their small nipa house. The damage worsened when Uwan and Verbena struck, leaving the structure unstable and leaking. When it rains, water enters the house, and the children often become sick due to the cold and damp conditions.
Both parents are visually impaired and rely on no-work-no-pay massage therapy for income. As a result, they do not have the financial means to repair their home on their own.
The family and I have repeatedly reached out to various NGOs and government offices for assistance. Despite months of waiting, no help or follow-up has been provided. With every rainfall, the risk to the children increases.
How your donation will be used
Your support will go directly toward:
• Emergency repair or rebuilding of the damaged home
• Food, clean water, and hygiene supplies for the children
• Short-term support while the parents work to regain stability
Why your support matters now
This is not just about rebuilding a house. It is about:
• Giving two young children a safe and dry place to sleep
• Preventing repeated illness and long-term health risks
• Helping a family recover when all other options have been exhausted
Photos and documentation are available to ensure transparency.
Please help us act now before another storm causes further harm.
Your donation today can help protect two young lives.
