A skilled carpenter once found himself among the forgotten, sleeping on a bench in Quezon Circle, his tools and dreams lost to misfortune. The city, a blur of concrete and people, felt vast and cold until the Yakap Pilipino Foundation arrived.

Mission:

The Yakap Pilipino Foundation’s mission is to empower the marginalized and vulnerable segments of Philippine society, particularly the homeless and at-risk families, by providing a dignified, holistic approach to reintegration. We aim not just to alleviate immediate suffering but to create sustainable pathways to independence, housing, and social inclusion through healthcare, education, and vocational training, all while fostering a powerful sense of community and national compassion. We believe in the power of a single 'yakap' (embrace) to change a life.

Campaign Goals:

1.Sustainable Housing: Provide stable, transition-to-permanent housing solutions for 1,000 homeless individuals and 500 at-risk families.

2.Holistic Health: Provide 10,000 free medical and dental check-ups per center annually, including essential medications.

3.Livelihood & Skills: Graduate 2,000 participants per center annually from our certified vocational and skills training programs (e.g., carpentry, tailoring, computer literacy) with immediate job placement partners.

4.Volunteer Mobilization: Recruit and train 5,000 active volunteers per year to support all operations and provide community support.
