For My Medical Expenses and Peace of Mind

I am an employee who continues to work hard and save whatever I can to help cover my ongoing medical expenses and pay off some of my debts.

What I am going through has not been easy. I have been hospitalized several times, but I chose not to tell my family because I did not want them to worry about me. I have always wanted to help my family, but sometimes I ask myself, how can I help them when I am also struggling to help myself?

I was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy, and the cost of my treatment and medications became difficult for me to manage on my own. Because I could no longer afford all my medical expenses, I had to ask my family for help, even though I knew that they were also facing their own challenges.

My sibling has lupus, and their eldest child also has health concerns, while the youngest child is frequently sick. My mother also underwent back surgery and was diagnosed with Pott’s disease. I honestly did not know how to ask for help when I knew that my family was already dealing with so much. However, because they are my family, I took the chance and asked for their assistance. I am deeply grateful to God that, despite their own struggles, they were still able to help me in whatever way they could.

At this point, I am humbly reaching out for assistance through fundraising to help me continue my medical treatment and medications and to gradually settle the debts I have accumulated because of my medical expenses.

My daily transportation and food expenses are also quite high, costing around Php 700 per day, which makes it even more difficult for me to save enough for my treatment and other financial obligations.

I am not asking because I want an easy way out. I am asking because I am doing my best to continue working, support myself, and get through this difficult period. Any amount of assistance, no matter how small, would mean so much to me and would help me continue my treatment and lessen the financial burden I am carrying.
