Help Me Provide Safe & Dignified Medical Care for My Mom

I am reaching out with hope and humility to ask for help providing my mom with first six months of assisted living care in Tagaytay, where air is fresh where the air is fresh, the surroundings are peaceful, and she can have a more supportive environment to focus on her health, comfort, and quality of life.

My mom lives with chronic kidney disease (CKD), hypertension, and limited mobility. Her health and mobility needs require consistent assistance, appropriate dietary care, regular medical checkups, and companionship to help maintain her safety and quality of life.

As her daughter, I want her to receive the care, comfort, and dignity she deserves. But the reality is that I can no longer provide all the assistance she needs while juggling work, raising my children, and managing our family's own health challenges.

My husband and I are also navigating our own health concerns, and we continue to pray that our health will soon stabilize. We are doing our best to care for our children and meet our family's responsibilities, but we have reached a point where we need help.

We know that we need to work toward greater physical and financial stability. We are also working toward finding additional sources of income that will allow us to continue providing for my mom's care in the long term. But her health and daily care needs cannot simply be put on hold while we work toward those goals or wait for our children to become more independent.

We are seeking to raise ₱350,000 to help us make this important transition and give our family six months to establish a more sustainable way of providing for her ongoing care.

### How your support will help

The funds will go toward:

- Six months of assisted living: ₱240,000 at ₱40,000 per month.

- Initial medical requirements: The checkups, tests, medical records, and doctor's notes required by the facility.

- Moving and transportation: The costs of safely transferring her to her new living arrangement.

- Storage of her belongings: StorageMart expenses for the personal belongings that are dear to her but cannot accompany her to the facility.

- Fundraising fees and other necessary expenses: The applicable platform fees and remaining transition or medicine costs they might require.

Moving to assisted living means making difficult decisions about what she can bring with her and where her other belongings will go. We want to make sure that the things she treasures can be kept safely while she settles into her new environment.

This transition is not about stepping away from our responsibility to her. It is about acknowledging that the care she needs requires more assistance than we can currently provide on our own, and finding a way to ensure that those needs are met.

The first six months will give us time to help her settle in, understand her ongoing care needs, and actively work toward additional income streams so we can continue supporting her and improving her quality of life beyond this initial period.

We are asking for help because we cannot sustainably carry the full financial burden alone at this stage of our lives. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help us take this necessary step for her well-being.
