Our family is facing a difficult and uncertain chapter as my mom has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 thymoma, a rare type of cancer.

We are only at the beginning of this journey, and there is still so much we need to understand. The cancer has caused fluid to build up around her lungs, making it difficult for her to breathe. She currently has a pleural catheter to help remove the fluid and manage her condition.

She will be going through a series of tests, scans, and consultations with different doctors and specialists to better understand her condition and determine the best treatment approach for her.

Right now, we are taking everything one day at a time. We are doing everything we can as a family to support her, but we also know that the road ahead may involve significant medical and financial challenges.

The medical expenses have already begun with her hospital care, tests, scans, consultations, procedures, medications, and other medical needs. As we learn more about her condition and her doctors determine the best course of treatment, we know there will be more expenses ahead.

This is why we are humbly reaching out for help.

Consultations with specialists and doctors

Care and procedures related to the fluid around her lungs

Medications and other medical needs
