💔 A HUMBLE PLEA FOR HELP FOR A FIRST-TIME MOM AND HER NEWBORN BABY 🙏🏻👶🏻
To everyone who may come across this post, I am humbly asking for a little of your time, kindness, and help. As a first-time mom who underwent an emergency C-section, it is difficult for me to share our story and admit that we need help. But for my baby and our little family, I am setting aside my pride and reaching out with a hopeful heart.
Our story began on October 14, 2026, when my water broke unexpectedly. At that moment, I was frightened and uncertain about what would happen to me and my baby. I initially went to Ospital ng Muntinlupa, hoping to receive the care we urgently needed. Unfortunately, we were informed that there was no available labor room and that they could not accommodate us at that time.
With my water already broken and our situation becoming more concerning, we had to seek care elsewhere. We eventually ended up at a private hospital in Carmona, where I underwent an emergency C-section on October 16.
What was supposed to be a time of welcoming our precious baby into the world became one of the most frightening and financially overwhelming experiences of our lives.
After delivery, our newborn baby had to stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for medical care and close monitoring. As parents, all we wanted was for our little girl to get better. We never imagined that the hospital expenses would become a burden we would struggle so hard to carry.
We are deeply grateful that we were able to secure a Guarantee Letter (GL) from DSWD for our baby’s hospital bill. However, the hospital’s arrangement requires the professional fees of the OB-GYN, pediatrician, anesthesiologist, and other doctors to be paid in cash. These fees have left us with a remaining hospital balance of ₱116,000.
We have already signed promissory notes, and we have been given only one month to settle the remaining balance.
As much as we want to pay everything ourselves, the truth is that we cannot manage this amount alone.
We are here in Manila without family members nearby who can help us financially or assist us through this difficult time. It is just me, my partner, and our newborn baby, trying our best to get through each day.
My partner also needs to return to work so we can continue paying our rent and provide for our baby’s milk, diapers, medicines, checkups, and other daily needs. Our little girl needs follow-up medications and regular medical checkups because she requires close monitoring after everything she has been through.
As a first-time mom, my heart aches knowing that while I should be focusing on recovering from surgery and caring for my newborn, I also have to worry about how we will settle this enormous hospital debt.
I wish I could take away every worry and give my baby the comfortable, secure beginning she deserves. I wish we could face these first precious weeks as a family without the fear of an overwhelming bill hanging over us.
But right now, we need help.
🙏🏻 We are humbly asking for any amount you may be willing to share. Whether it is ₱50, ₱100, ₱500, or any amount you can spare, every contribution will mean so much to our family. If you cannot give financially, a share, a prayer, or a referral to someone who may be able to help would already be a tremendous blessing.
We are also sincerely hoping to be connected with any government agency, charitable organization, private foundation, church, community group, or kind-hearted individual who may be able to assist us with our remaining hospital balance or help us access additional financial assistance.
For transparency and legitimacy, I am willing to show our hospital bills, promissory notes, DSWD Guarantee Letter, and other supporting documents to anyone who wishes to verify our situation.
We are not asking for anything beyond what we genuinely need to get through this difficult situation. We are simply parents who want to settle our hospital obligations, continue our baby’s medical care, and give our daughter the safe and loving life she deserves.
Right now, we have only ourselves and our faith in the Lord to hold on to. We continue to pray that He will send kind-hearted people into our lives who can help us carry this burden, even little by little.
To everyone who takes the time to read, share, pray for, or help our family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You may never know how much your kindness means to a mother who is still recovering from surgery and a family trying to find its way through an unexpected crisis.
May God bless you and your families abundantly for every kindness you extend to us. We pray that one day, when we are in a better position, we will also be able to help another family who finds themselves in a situation like ours.
From a first-time mom, a grateful partner, and a little baby who deserves a chance to grow up healthy and happy, thank you for giving our family hope. ❤️🙏🏻
Every share, every prayer, and every little help brings us one step closer to overcoming this hardship.
