Since its inception, the B2G Project has evolved from a simple act of kindness into a powerhouse for educational advocacy in Romblon, Philippines. We aren’t just a grassroots movement; we are a fully registered and compliant organization (DOLE, BIR, and Municipality of Odiongan) dedicated to total transparency and measurable impact.

🏝️Concepcion/Sibale is the westernmost island of Romblon — beautiful, remote, and often forgotten.

⛵️It can only be reached by boat. There is no regular transportation connecting it to the rest of the province, so families must take small boats just to reach the mainland for basic needs. To buy supplies, access services, or seek help, they brave rough seas — sometimes traveling all the way through Mindoro or hiring private pump boats. It is costly, dangerous, and impossible when the weather turns bad.

🌊When the waves grow strong, the island is completely cut off.

No supplies.

No services.

No help.

Just waiting for the sea to calm.

And in those moments, it is the children who feel it most.

Many students in Concepcion dream of going to school, but distance, poverty, and isolation make even the simplest things difficult — notebooks, pencils, backpacks, soap, toothbrushes, basic hygiene essentials.

This campaign is not just about reaching an island.

📕It is about bringing school supplies and hygiene kits directly to children who need them most — so they can walk into their classrooms prepared, confident, and proud.

The B2G Project has already reached 14 towns across Romblon. But Concepcion remains unreached — not because its children matter less, but because reaching them is harder. And sometimes, the hardest places to reach are the ones that need us the most.

This year, we are determined to cross those rough seas. We are determined to deliver hope in the form of school supplies, hygiene kits, and encouragement. We are determined to ensure no child is left behind — even when the seas are rough.
