Dear kind-hearted supporters,

My name is Regina Palomares. I am a wife, a mother of two boys, and I have been on dialysis for eight years.

In 2018, I reached a point in my life when I finally felt ready to work. I wanted to help my husband provide for our family and give our two boys a better future.

We were slowly building the life we had always dreamed of. I was excited to finally do my part and help my husband carry the responsibilities of our family. But just when I was ready to start that chapter of our lives, I became sick. Everything changed.

On August 16, 2018, I started dialysis. I never imagined that something I thought would only be a temporary part of my life would become something I would have to live with for eight years. There have been many hard days. There were days when I felt so tired, scared, and unsure of what the future would look like. But somehow, I kept going.

Because I have two boys. And they are a big part of why I keep fighting. I want to see them grow up. I want to watch them finish school, find their own paths, and reach the dreams they have for themselves. I want to be there for the little things and the big moments. I want to make more memories with them while I still can.

After eight years on dialysis, I am now hoping and praying for a kidney transplant. I know it will not be an easy journey, and I know there are many costs involved. That is why I am reaching out and asking for help. I am not asking for pity. I am asking for a chance. A chance to have more time with my family. A chance to see my boys grow up. A chance to continue the life that my husband and I started building together.

One of the ways we are raising funds is through our T-Shirt for a Cause. If you choose to buy one, please know that you are helping more than just my transplant journey. You are helping a mother who simply wants more time with her children.

And if you cannot buy a shirt, that's okay. You can still help by sharing my story, saying a prayer for me, or helping this reach someone who may be able to help. I don't know exactly what the future holds for me.

But I know one thing. I still want to be here for my boys. I still have so much love to give, so many memories I want to make, and so many moments I want to witness. Thank you for listening to my story.

Thank you for every prayer, every share, every shirt purchased, and every little bit of help.

From my family to yours, thank you for giving me hope and for helping me fight for more time with the people I love.
