In a bustling city in the Philippines, a young girl was struggling to find her place. After losing her family, she was placed in a local orphanage, or 'bahay ampunan'. Despite the kindness of the staff, she felt deeply lonely, disconnected, and out of place.

Mission:

The Yakap Pilipino Foundation’s mission is to support the holistic development and well-being of children in orphanages, or 'bahay ampunan', across the Philippines. We strive to provide a nurturing environment that fosters physical health, emotional well-being, social skills, and educational opportunities. We believe every child deserves a loving and supportive community to help them transition, adapt, and thrive.

Campaign goals:

1.Emotional Support: Provide dedicated grief counseling, peer-mentorship, and adjustment therapy services for 500 children in orphanages annually.

2.Educational Opportunities: Fund school supplies, textbooks, and targeted tutoring programs for 1,000 children to help them keep up with their studies.

3.Physical Well-being: Ensure access to regular medical check-ups, mental health screenings, and nutritious meals for 2,000 children annually.

4.Social Integration: Organize recreational group activities, life-skills workshops, and community mentorship programs for 1,500 children to facilitate healthy social adaptation.
