Operation Hope : For Noah
Operation Hope for Noah: A Year of Healing, One More Surgery to Go
When Noah was born, we learned he had Esophageal Atresia with Tracheoesophageal Distal Fistula — EA-TEF. It’s a rare birth defect where Noah’s esophagus didn’t connect to his stomach, and there was a dangerous link between his windpipe and food pipe. He couldn’t eat by mouth.
Life-Saving Surgery on July 4, 2025
On July 4, 2025, Noah had his first major surgery. Doctors performed Gastrostomy - to place a feeding tube directly into his stomach and Cervical Esophagostomy - to create an opening in his neck so his upper esophagus could drain and heal.
That day saved Noah’s life. But it was only step 1. For the past year, Noah has been dependent on a feeding tube for all of his nutrition. He’s also been hospitalized several times due to complications from EA-TEF — infections, respiratory issues, and feeding challenges.
Through it all, Noah has stayed brave. Smiling, fighting, and growing even when eating is something he can only dream of right now.
Doctors told us we need to wait about a year for Noah to grow stronger before the next big surgery. Now that time has come. Noah is scheduled for his 2nd major operation: Colonic Interposition. This procedure will use a part of Noah’s colon to rebuild and connect his esophagus so he can eventually eat by mouth. It’s the surgery we’ve been praying for — the one that can give Noah a chance at a normal life.
Why We Need Your Help
The estimated cost for Noah’s next surgery, hospital stay, PICU, medicines is 500,000 pesos.
We’ve done everything we can, but we can’t do this next step alone. Noah has fought so hard for a year. He deserves the chance to eat, laugh, and grow without tubes and hospital rooms. With your help, he can keep healing.
Every donation, share, and prayer brings us closer. Please help us get Noah to his next surgery and his next chance at life.
From our family to yours: Thank you for standing with Noah.
