Hello everyone! Hoping everything is well.

I am asking for any cent/s to help me rebuild/repair our house. Our house was already old, built during the 1970s. This was the only house that was built by my father as a local farmer in our area here in Lagao, General Santos City.

Signs of aging are pretty obvious already but due to to lack of financial capacity to help us acquire new home or repair it, we left with such aging house.

I am only daughter of the family. My parents work their ass off to finish my studies. I graduated last 2012 and tried so many jobs here and abroad but due to some recessions and parent's aging condition, I was backed here in Gensan for good. Year 2017, my father died at age 72 due to COPD. He's been suffering since 2014, the reason why I took the chance abroad even if it means, leaving them for a better employment and financial ways. Year 2019, my mother suffered a mild stroke at age 69. A year after, she was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer. These are the reasons why saving money is too tight for me even if I am earning since most of their medical needs during those times are coming from me and all the needed necessities inside the household. Up until now, my mother's medication is still on going and juggling my ass of as well to earn pesos for us to live and extend her life. Thank God she is gracefully fighting her cancer.

Just recently, June 08, 2026, a Magnitude 7.8 Earthquake strikes the island of Mindanao where the epicenter is our nearby province, Sarangani. That was just a closed call since it was just a 78miles aways from home.

It was the most terrible earthquake we've encountered during this lifetime. Our house was collapsing due to aging. Since my mother cannot move freely as she have to be assisted due to stroke and aging, I was ablr to pull him out of the house because she frantically fell down to the ground because of the strong shaking. Even if debris are falling in our heads, we really tried to reach the door to vacate the house. Our door collapes but due to debris, I need to put it out first because it was blocking the collapsed door. The door and its jamb fell down as well.

Photos are attached to aee the current condition of the house. For now, my mom is staying at her brother's house in the province. We are currently separated as I am checking the things left inside the house in Gensan. We can't afford to loss thebthings inside. I am taking extra care in staying at the house. Sleeping in a folding bed to quickly escape when tremors are being experienced. A total of of more than 30+ aftershocks felt and some are quiet strong and shaky as of writing.

Please help me repair our house, my parent's hardword, my father's haven.

A single cent can really go a long way for us.
