My sister was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), A Chronic Autoimmune Disease

My name is Cherry Mae Simacas-Ligutom, a resident of Cebu Province, Philippines. I am respectfully writing on behalf of my sister, May Ann O. Simacas, to humbly seek financial assistance for her ongoing medical treatment.

My sister was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), a chronic autoimmune disease that requires continuous medical care, regular laboratory monitoring, maintenance medications, and hospitalization when her condition worsens. She has been battling this illness for almost ten (10) months and is currently admitted to Chong Hua Hospital for medical treatment.

Despite our family's best efforts, the financial burden of her hospitalization, medications, laboratory tests, and other medical expenses has become increasingly difficult to sustain. While we are grateful for the assistance provided through PhilHealth, the remaining costs continue to exceed our family's financial capacity.

In light of these circumstances, we humbly appeal to your kind heart and generosity for any form of financial or medical assistance that your organization may be able to provide. Any support, regardless of amount, would greatly help ease the burden of her treatment and contribute to her recovery and well-being.

We sincerely hope that our situation merits your consideration. Your assistance would not only provide financial relief to our family but also give hope and strength to my sister as she continues her fight against this challenging illness.
