Help Allan Recover From a Brain Hemorrhage and 4 Brain Aneurysms

A blessed day everyone!

We are reaching out to raise funds for our dad, Allan Mapalad, who has been diagnosed with multiple brain aneurysms.

Shortly after recovering from a Salmonella/Typhoid infection, Allan suffered a sudden, life-threatening medical emergency. He was rushed back to the hospital, where doctors discovered a brain hemorrhage. The CT Angiogram revealed four aneurysms — three in his basilar artery and one on the right side.

His doctors recommended endovascular treatment using stents. Allan has already undergone surgery to treat three of the aneurysms, requiring four stents after one of his major blood vessels was found to be torn. Each stent costs ₱650,000 ($10,555), bringing the total cost of the four stents alone to ₱2.6 million ($42,220) — not including hospitalization, medicines, tests, doctors' fees, and other medical expenses.

One aneurysm still remains untreated, meaning Allan now faces another procedure, along with continuing hospital and recovery costs.

Why We Need Your Help

Allan's hospital bill has already exceeded ₱3 million ($50,000), and the expenses continue to grow. We are reaching out to government agencies for assistance, but the total cost is far beyond what any aid program can fully cover. We are doing everything in our power to make sure Allan gets the treatment he needs — but these expenses are more than our family can manage alone.
