I am writing to ask for your kindness and assistance on behalf of a close friend who is going through an incredibly difficult time.

My friend recently lost his job and has been overwhelmed by a tremendous amount of debt. The financial burden has become so severe that he has lost hope and has expressed suicidal thoughts. If I were financially able, I would gladly pay off his debts myself so that he could have the opportunity to start over and rebuild his life. Unfortunately, I do not have the means to do so.
