Help 5-Day-Old Baby Ayesha Fight Umbilicalitis
Hi everyone,
I am reaching out to you with an open and urgent heart to ask for support for my newborn daughter, Ayesha.
Ayesha entered the world just five days ago, but instead of being home safely with our family, she has been admitted to the hospital for the past four days. She is currently being treated for an umbilical cord infection (umbilicalitis).
Because I was unaware of my pregnancy until late, I was unable to get routine prenatal care or receive the necessary tetanus toxoid vaccinations. As a young mother whose family is already facing severe financial struggles, this sudden medical emergency has overwhelmed us.
Her doctor explained that her umbilical cord is infected with a high amount of bacteria. Because of this, she needs to stay in the hospital for several days to receive IV antibiotics twice a day for a full 10-day treatment course.
Every single day in the hospital, our medical costs continue to pile up rapidly. As shown in the attached picture, our bill for just one day has already reached ₱21,082.70. We want nothing more than to ensure Baby Ayesha receives her complete treatment so she can recover safely without any complications.
How Your Support Will Be Used
Every donation received through this campaign will go directly toward Ayesha’s medical care and recovery:
Hospital Stay & Room Care: Covering the daily inpatient room charges for her full 10-day hospital stay.
Medications & Antibiotics: Paying for her twice-daily IV antibiotic treatment and infection management.
Laboratory & Diagnostic Tests: Funding necessary blood work and pediatric monitoring to confirm the infection clears.
Doctor & Pediatrician Fees: Covering attending physician and specialist fees throughout her hospitalization.
No parent is ever truly prepared to watch their newborn stay in a hospital bed. Navigating this health scare while worrying about how to afford her bills has been one of the hardest experiences of my life.
Any contribution—no matter how small—makes an incredible difference for our little family. If you are unable to donate at this time, sharing Ayesha's story with your friends, family, and community would mean the world to us.
Thank you so much for your kindness, prayers, and generosity during this critical time.
With deep gratitude,
Ayesha’s Loving Family
