For nearly 20 years, my mother has dedicated her life to serving as a public school teacher. She has spent her career educating young minds while working tirelessly to provide for our family. As our family's primary breadwinner, she has always placed the needs of others before her own, often sacrificing her health and well-being to ensure that we had everything we needed.

Today, my mother is facing one of the greatest challenges of her life. She has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease, a condition that developed after years of battling diabetes and hypertension. Despite her illness, she continues to work because our family still depends on her income.

As her child, it is heartbreaking to watch her carry this burden while managing multiple health conditions. My mother has spent her entire life caring for others. Now, she deserves the opportunity to focus on herself, her recovery, and her health.

While I do everything I can to help support her medical expenses, my resources are limited. I have a family of my own to provide for, my two younger siblings are still in school, and my father is currently focused on supporting and caring for my mother as she undergoes treatment. Despite our combined efforts, the financial demands of her medical care have become increasingly difficult for our family to manage.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward my mother's ongoing medical care, medications, laboratory tests, and regular doctor consultations.

She is currently under close medical supervision and has been prescribed more than nine medications to manage her kidney disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure. The cost of her medications alone is approximately ₱4,000 per week, and that amount does not yet include her doctor's fees, laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, and other necessary medical expenses required to monitor and manage her condition.

These medical costs have placed a significant financial strain on our family and have put us in a very difficult position. While we remain committed to ensuring my mother receives the care she needs, the expenses continue to grow and are becoming increasingly challenging to sustain.

Our goal is not only to help pay for her treatment but also to give her the chance to live with less stress and worry. After decades of serving her students, supporting our family, and putting everyone else's needs ahead of her own, we hope to give her the opportunity to slow down, prioritize her health, and enjoy life with her loved ones.
