I am John Prester Dacal, a 26-year-old fighter who has been battling Chronic Myeloid Leukemia— a rare type of blood cancer. Just this year, we received another devastating news: I was also diagnosed with lymph node complications, making my condition even more painful and difficult.

I am a kind, gentle soul — a friend to everyone, a loving son and a father of 2 as well. Despite my illness, I continue to smile, fight, and hold on to faith. But behind those smiles are long days in the hospital, expensive medications, and treatments that are financially overwhelming for us.

I created this fundraiser to help cover my mounting hospital bills, chemotherapy sessions, daily medications, and laboratory tests that I need to continue my fight. Every day, the costs grow higher, and our family can no longer carry this burden alone.
