Hi, I’m Ephraim, an independent filmmaker from the Philippines.

For as long as I can remember, filmmaking has been more than a hobby, it’s the way I express myself and connect with people. I love capturing genuine emotions and creating films that make people feel something. It’s never been about chasing trends or making fast-paced content. It’s about telling stories that matter.

Unfortunately, life became difficult.

My monthly income is only around ₱6,000, which is barely enough to cover my daily expenses. To make ends meet, I had to make one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever faced: I sold my camera, the very tool that allowed me to create the films I love.

I still accept video projects whenever I can, but without my own camera, continuing this passion has become incredibly difficult. There were many times I filmed simply because I loved creating, not because of the money. While I don’t regret those moments, they also meant I wasn’t able to build enough financial stability to replace the equipment I lost.

Today, I’m asking for your help.

The funds raised through this campaign will go toward purchasing a camera and the essential equipment I need to start creating again. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to continuing the work that means so much to me.
