Help Our Cousin Fight Lupus

No one ever expects to hear the words, "You have lupus." For our family, that moment changed everything.

Our beloved cousin has been diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), a chronic autoimmune disease in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks its own healthy tissues and organs. Lupus can affect the joints, kidneys, heart, lungs, skin, and other vital organs, making it a lifelong and unpredictable illness. Many people became more aware of this disease through Kris Aquino's public health journey, highlighting just how serious lupus can be.

Our cousin is currently confined at Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, where she is receiving medical care. We are deeply grateful to the doctors and healthcare workers who are doing everything they can to help her.

However, due to the complexity of her condition, our hope is to transfer her to a private hospital where she can receive closer monitoring, continued treatment, and specialized care as her doctors deem appropriate. The costs of hospitalization, medications, laboratory tests, and ongoing treatment are far beyond what our family can manage on our own.

With humble hearts, we are reaching out to ask for your help. Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward:

Hospital bills

Transfer to a private hospital for continued treatment and closer monitoring

Laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures

Prescription medications

Specialist consultations and other medical expenses

If you are unable to donate, we kindly ask that you share this fundraiser with your family, friends, and community. Your support, prayers, and generosity can help give our cousin the chance to receive the care she urgently needs.

Every act of kindness brings hope to our family during this difficult time. Thank you for standing with us in this fight. May God bless you abundantly for your compassion and generosity.
