Clean Dumaguete – Community Cleanup Project

Dumaguete is a beautiful city, and I want to do my part to help keep it clean.

I am organizing a community cleanup project in Dumaguete, bringing together volunteers who are willing to spend their time collecting and removing litter from public areas, streets, and other places that need attention.

The goal is to raise ₱20,000 to cover the basic costs of organizing the cleanup.

Where will the money go?

Food and refreshments for volunteers – Volunteers will be giving their time and energy to help clean the city, so I want to provide them with meals, water, and refreshments during the cleanup.

Transportation and truck rental – We will need to rent a truck to collect and transport the bags of garbage to the appropriate disposal location.

Cleaning equipment – Part of the funds will be used to buy gloves, garbage bags, grabbers, masks, and other basic equipment needed to safely collect waste.

Fuel – We will need fuel for the truck and transportation used during the cleanup.

Other small expenses – Any remaining funds will be used for additional supplies or unexpected costs related to the project.

Why ₱20,000?

₱20,000 is a realistic starting budget that will allow us to organize a proper cleanup while making sure volunteers have the equipment, food, transportation, and support they need.

This is not about making money. Every peso raised will go toward making the cleanup possible and helping Dumaguete become cleaner and more pleasant for everyone.

Even a small donation can make a difference. If you cannot donate, simply sharing this campaign or joining the cleanup as a volunteer would already mean a lot.
