I am raising this fund for my partner who is battling cancer, right now. Testicular cancer in particular . We are in a long- distance relationship and I wanted to help him by doing this. I will share to you our story and I hope it resonates with you.

My partner's name is Kyle, he works as an ESL teacher but as of the moment of writing this, he is not working anymore. He was diagnosed with cancer just last year around October or November, but he has been carrying the pain since December of 2024. At first, he thought that the pain is just passing and there is nothing to worry about, but then months passed and right around May, he has observed that there's something wrong with his testicle already. He felt some round shape inside his testicle and he has observed that it is getting bigger. His family can't afford the expenses for medical checkup and laboratory, so they opted to do traditional healing or rely on herbal medication, however, there was no improvement seen. Around November last year, they went to a public hospital and had all the medical procedures. He underwent surgery and it was indeed successful. However, as per the biopsy of his removed testicle, it was a yolk sac tumor and it needs chemotherapy right after. The tumor removed was about 12 cm.

But because his family doesn't have enough financial capacity, he opted to work again right around January of this year. But then, just in February, he felt another pain on the area where his testicle was removed.

Now, as of writing this, August 19, 2026, they are preparing to go to the public hospital for a respiratory test. They started the series of consultations at a public hospital around June and up until now he is not yet undergoing chemotherapy.

Now, they were given the treatment protocol and prescription from a private hospital and they need around 325 000 pesos for 6 sessions but they are planning not to have the chemotherapy session in a private hospital as it is expensive, and they can't afford it. They will try to have it in our public hospital but, as for me, it takes long waiting time to be able to have the session.

That is why, I am doing this attempt to raise a fund for my partner. I believe he deserves the chance to be free from cancer. He is a good and responsible partner and son. He has dedicated his life into God's ministry, and he is still looking forward to serve the Lord. He is positive about his case right now despite the situation, and will accept whatever comes his way, fully trusting in the Lord, and I hope that by God's grace, he will be free from cancer. I can't stand seeing him thru video call suffering from pain, and since we are in a long distance relationship, this is the only way I can help.
