Please Help My Mom Fight Thyroid Cancer — A Daughter’s Plea for Hope

To everyone who takes the time to read our story, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I never imagined that I would have to ask strangers for help with something so deeply personal. But today, I am reaching out as a daughter who loves her mother dearly and wants to do everything she can to give her mom a chance to receive the care she needs.

My beloved mother, my Nanay, has recently been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Hearing those words has been heartbreaking for our family. No daughter is ever prepared to hear that her mother has cancer, and no amount of preparation can take away the fear and uncertainty that come with such news.

What makes this even more difficult is seeing my mother become physically weaker. She has lost a significant amount of weight and has been experiencing persistent shaking and tremors. Watching someone who means so much to you go through this is painful, especially when all you want is to take away her suffering and make everything better.

We are still in the process of medical consultations and further examinations to understand her condition and determine the next steps in her treatment. There are still many things we need to learn, and the uncertainty is frightening. But despite everything, I want to hold on to hope and do whatever I can to help my mother.

Why I Am Asking for Help

As much as I want to provide everything my mother needs, the financial burden of medical care is difficult for our family to manage alone. Consultations, diagnostic tests, medications, transportation to medical appointments, and possible treatments can become overwhelming expenses.

That is why I am humbly asking for your help.

Every donation, no matter how small, can help us take another step toward getting my mother the medical attention she needs. Your support will go toward her medical consultations, necessary laboratory and diagnostic tests, prescribed medications, transportation to hospital appointments, and treatment expenses recommended by her doctors.

I understand that not everyone is in a position to donate, and I completely understand. If you cannot give financially, sharing our campaign with your friends, family, or community would already mean so much to us. Even a simple share could help our story reach someone who may be able to help.

More Than Anything, I Want My Mom to Have Hope

My mother is precious to me. She is not just a patient fighting an illness; she is my Nanay, someone whose presence in my life means more than words can express.
