Hi! I am Dan Andrea, 23 years old. I’m raising funds for my twin sister, Dan Andrei, who is currently undergoing lifelong treatment and maintenance care for a congenital heart condition called Truncus arteriosus (Truncus), along with possible recurring infections. She requires lifelong maintenance medications, regular check-ups, and continuous monitoring, with the possibility of future heart surgery depending on her condition.

My father and I both have work, but even with our combined income, it is still not enough to cover her daily medications, medical needs, and hospital expenses. We are still paying off the debts we incurred when my twin sister was hospitalized, and it has been very difficult for us financially since then.

We are trying to seek help so we can afford at least a half-month or full month supply of my twin sister’s medicines. This will also help us slowly pay off our debts to friends, family, and credit cards. Since she was hospitalized in March, we have been accumulating debt because there are times we fall short on money for her medicines, monthly household expenses, and her regular check-ups.

Most days, we can only afford to buy her medicines piece by piece, depending on what little money we have. We try our best to buy a full month’s supply to help her stay consistent with her medication.

She also needs monthly check-ups, laboratory tests, and 2D echo monitoring to track her condition and determine if she can still undergo heart surgery in the future. We have already reached out to government offices and organizations for assistance, but we are still waiting for any response.
