Help me provide a monthly FREE expressive arts workshop for middle-class Filipino workers
The Vision: A Permanent Space to Breathe
The Mission: Proving that Healing is Communal
In the Philippines, our middle working class is the "forgotten" demographic in the mental health crisis. With 77% of employees reporting symptoms of depression and an economy losing ₱68.9 billion annually to burnout, we cannot wait for a clinical system that is already stretched thin.
Likha na Dito is stepping in to bridge the gap. We believe that art isn’t just a hobby; it’s a tool for connection. We recognize that while treatment may be clinical, healing is communal.
The Goal: Our First ₱30,000
This campaign is a "Kickstart" project. We are raising ₱30,000 to fund our very first fully-sponsored workshop cycle. Our goal is to prove that by providing a free, safe, and creative space, we can help the Filipino workforce find their breath again.
This pilot serves as the blueprint. By supporting this initial goal, you are helping us build the foundation for a permanent sanctuary for workers.
Transparency: Where Your Support Will Go
We believe in radical transparency. Every peso is allocated to ensure both immediate impact and long-term sustainability:
70% (₱21,000) — The Workshop Pilot: This covers professional-grade art materials, venue rental in an accessible location, and logistics to keep the session 100% free for our participants.
15% (₱4,500) — The Facilitator Seed Fund: This is an investment in the future. These funds are set aside specifically to save for my professional certification in expressive arts facilitation, ensuring our future sessions meet the highest standards of trauma-informed care.
15% (₱4,500) — Operational & Volunteer Support: This ensures the "human engine" of the project stays fueled. It covers the basic transportation, meals, and stipends for myself and the fellow volunteers who give their time and energy to organize and facilitate these sessions.
The Power of the "Stranger"
Why start with strangers? Because strangers don’t hold you to your "office" persona or your "breadwinner" role. There is a unique freedom in talking to someone who doesn’t have a pre-set idea of who you are. In our workshops, you aren’t your job title—you are just a human with a paintbrush.
Help Us Launch the Movement
Your contribution today funds more than just one afternoon of art; it funds the proof of concept and the professional foundation needed to make these sessions a recurring reality for Filipinos nationwide.
