Meet Wilma: The Heart of Our Family

Wilma del Rosario, 55, is the kind of person who lights up every room she enters. To her family, she is the ultimate caregiver—a loving mother, a devoted wife, and a doting "dog mom" to her nine furry children. She is a hardworking woman who has always put others first, who laughs with her whole heart, and who has never hesitated to help someone in need.

But recently, the woman we all rely on has been knocked down by a double medical crisis.

The Double Blow: A Preventable Tragedy

In mid-July 2026, Wilma's life changed in an instant. An infection from kidney stones spiked her blood pressure to dangerous levels, triggering a debilitating stroke.

The aftermath has been devastating. Wilma is now bedridden, unable to move her left arm and left leg. She battles constant, painful nerve pain in her affected limbs. Just as we began to hope for a recovery, we learned that she also has gallstones that require urgent surgery for her to heal completely.

The images of her in the hospital bed, hooked up to monitors and an IV, are heartbreaking for all of us. They are a stark contrast to the vibrant woman who was recently seen smiling with her dogs, full of life and energy.

The medical costs are piling up at an alarming rate. Her current hospital bill has already reached 700,000 Philippine Peso (PHP), and it continues to grow.

Wilma has spent a lifetime caring for her family and her nine dogs. Now, it is our turn to care for her. We cannot let the cost of her life-saving treatment be the thing that stops her recovery.
