Two Hearts, One Fight: Ann & Baby Adam

Our greatest hope is to see Ann recover, watch Baby Adam grow stronger, and one day bring our little family home together.

Our little family was supposed to be preparing for the arrival of our baby boy, Adam. Instead, we found ourselves facing one of the most difficult and frightening moments of our lives.

My wife, Ann, experienced severe preeclampsia and APAS during her pregnancy. After weeks of hospital confinement, monitoring, medications, and countless moments of uncertainty, we reached a point where Baby Adam had to be delivered prematurely at 31 weeks and 4 days.

Thank God, Ann made it safely through the C-section and is now recovering. But our little Adam is still in the NICU, where he will need to stay for several more weeks as he continues to grow and fully mature.

As parents, there is nothing harder than seeing your newborn connected to machines and knowing that you cannot simply take him home yet. Every day in the NICU is another day we pray for his strength, growth, and continued progress.

We are doing everything we can to keep up with the medical expenses for both Ann and Adam. We have already exhausted much of what we had, and the hospital bills continue to grow as Adam receives the specialized care he needs.
