In Loving Memory of Our Mother, Fortunata Gonzales

We are humbly asking for your kindness and support as our family faces a difficult financial burden following the passing of our beloved mother, Fortunata Gonzales, 73 years old.

Our mother was admitted to ACE Medical Center – Dagupan on July 7 due to multiple serious health conditions, including Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 5 (CKD 5), diabetes, hypertension, and electrolyte imbalance. She remained hospitalized until August 26, when she was sadly discharged after she passed away.

Our mother was a very strong woman. She was a loving mother of six children and someone who was deeply respected by all of us. She carried our family through many difficult moments and remained a source of strength for her children.

Our father passed away in 2015, and since then, our mother had been an important pillar of our family. Losing her has left a tremendous emptiness in our lives. We are now trying to cope with the pain of losing her while also facing the significant hospital expenses incurred during her final hospitalization.

Her gross hospital bill reached approximately ₱4.5 million. After discounts and applicable deductions, the amount was reduced to approximately ₱3.5 million. Our family was able to make a down payment, but we still have an outstanding balance of approximately ₱2 million that needs to be settled with the hospital.

This remaining amount is far beyond what our family can afford on our own. Despite our best efforts, we are unable to shoulder the balance without assistance.

We are therefore reaching out to our family, friends, acquaintances, and kind-hearted individuals who may be willing to help us.

Any amount, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference toward settling our mother’s remaining hospital bill. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would already be a great help to our family.

We understand that these are difficult times for everyone, and we are truly grateful for any assistance you can extend. We will provide the necessary hospital documents and billing information for transparency and to show where the funds will be used.

Our mother spent her final weeks fighting with the same strength that defined her throughout her life. While we can no longer bring her home, we hope to give her the peaceful and dignified farewell she deserves without leaving our family with a burden we cannot overcome.
