The LGBTQIA+ community has always looked forward to the pride celebrations that happen annually, not just because of the colorful parades or the extravagance of the event, but because it is an avenue where people can express their dissent and celebrate their identities. Moreover, as a community, we recognize that we are not only united by our shared struggles but also through our shared victories and joys.

Negros Pride, formerly members of Tribu Duag, is an LGBTGIA+ organization that has organized pride parades in Bacolod since 2019. Reintroducing the Pride celebration five years ago has been a pivotal time for the founding members of the organization to see the intersections of societal issues through the lens of the queer struggle.

All proceeds would go directly to the event costs including technical and logistical materials, food and drinks for volunteers, and talent fees for the queer artists and performers.
