🤍PLEASE HELP ME SAVE COOKIES🤍

Hi everyone. I’m humbly reaching out to ask for help for my beloved rabbit, Cookies, who urgently needs surgery and further medical care.

Cookies is my 5-year-old male New Zealand rabbit. I bought him from a pet store years ago living in an overcrowded cage with many other baby bunnies. Since then, he has become one of the most precious parts of my life.

Cookies is more than just a pet to me. During the pandemic, when I was going through one of the darkest and most difficult periods of my life emotionally, he became one of my greatest sources of comfort, light, and happiness. His little presence gave me something to look forward to and helped brighten days when I was struggling. That is why seeing him sick now breaks my heart so deeply 🥹.

Despite everything, Cookies has always been a strong little fighter.

His journey so far:

🐰 2022: Survived GI stasis when he was only around 3 months old.

🐰 2023: Developed a wart-like growth on his ear near a vein. It eventually came off on its own and bled heavily. Due to financial difficulties, I wasn't able to proceed with the recommended biopsy.

🐰 2024: Survived a severe heatstroke.

🐰 2025: Survived another heatstroke.

Now, in 2026, Cookies is facing what may be his biggest battle yet.

He has developed a very large, hardened mass on his face, along with multiple lumps around his body, particularly near the sides of his armpits, as well as some on his back and legs. He also currently has a wart-like growth near his anus.

We brought Cookies to an exotic veterinarian Pragmavet Animal Clinic and had X-rays done. The vet is seriously concerned that the masses may be tumors or cancer, but we still do not know whether they are benign or malignant. Cookies needs surgery and a biopsy to identify what these masses truly are.

The vet recommended addressing the large facial mass as soon as possible, before it grows larger, becomes more difficult to remove, or becomes accidentally injured or infected. Further treatments cannot be properly considered until we know exactly what we are dealing with.

Despite everything, Cookies is still eating and drinking, producing poop, responding to us, and having energetic periods during the night and early morning. He is still fighting, and as long as he continues fighting, I don't want to give up on him.

I also want to be transparent about why I am asking for help. I am still a college student and I don't have a stable source of income. I only earn through freelancing whenever work is available. I am also a PWD holder with a psychological condition, which makes handling this financial situation even more challenging for me.

I feel guilty because I've been studying far from home and couldn't always be there to personally care for Cookies. My family looked after him while I was away, but I still wish I could have done more. I cannot change the past, but I want to do everything I possibly can for him now, just as he unknowingly helped me through some of my darkest days.

Our fundraising goal is ₱25,000 to help cover Cookies' overall veterinary expenses, including:

• Surgery

• Biopsy

• Medications

• Post-operative care

• Follow-up checkups

• Other necessary medical expenses during and after his recovery

Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to us or simply sharing this post, can help bring us closer to giving Cookies the care he urgently needs.

Cookies gave me light when I was going through a dark time. Now that he needs me, I want to be his light and fight for him too🥹.
