She is the heart of her small family—a loving mom to her 11-year-old daughter and the sweetest dog named Aryana. Despite the diagnosis, Maria Teresa remains strong, hopeful, and determined to fight this battle for the people who love her most. Unfortunately, our lives were turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Stage 2B Cervical Cancer. She has already shown immense bravery, but the journey has recently become much harder.

The Current Situation

Maria Teresa is currently undergoing her 3rd round of chemotherapy. Sadly, recent medical evaluations have shown that the cancer has recurred and is proving to be treatment-resistant to standard protocols. Because the initial treatments are not working as hoped, her medical team is now exploring alternative options, specialized therapies, and stronger medications to give her the best possible chance at beating this.
