My wife was 29 weeks pregnant when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Due to her condition, we have done series of test (ultrasound, Core Needle Biopsy, Pathology, Blood test, ECG, MRI without contrast, 2D Echo) and we also consulted different doctors from her OB-Gynecologist, Breast Surgeon, Oncologist, and Cardiologist. All the doctors recommended to have the tumor removed before my wife’s delivery to avoid spread of the cancer cells to the other organs of her body. And the therapy will proceed after she gives birth. Fortunately, the surgery was performed on August 13, 2026, while she was on her third trimester (34th weeks of pregnancy) and it was successful. Currently, she’s still recovering from the operation and at the same time preparing for her delivery of our third child on September 08, 2026 via Cesarean Section. Afterwards, we will be continuing her cancer treatment, approximately 3 weeks after her delivery.
