Flight for Sir Gallon: A Fundraiser for Healing and Hope

We are organizing this fundraiser to seek support for Sir Melchor B. Gallon, a respected instructor of NAAP/PHILSCA, who is currently in critical medical condition and fighting for his life.

On November 23, Sir Gallon underwent a routine complete blood count (CBC) for a scheduled colonoscopy due to ongoing difficulty in defecating and occasional bleeding. The results revealed high potassium, low hemoglobin, high uric acid, and elevated creatinine levels, which required his immediate admission to Sacred Heart Medical Center, where he received blood transfusions to stabilize his condition.

A colonoscopy later revealed a rectal mass highly suspicious for cancer. Additional tests showed that his kidneys had already sustained severe damage, requiring the urgent start of hemodialysis.

On December 3, he underwent surgery to remove the rectal mass, and a colostomy was performed. The next day, December 4, his condition took a devastating turn when his oxygen levels dropped from above 90% to 70%, and eventually to 40%. That same day, he flatlined twice and had to be revived and immediately intubated.

At present, Sir Gallon is conscious but very fragile, and he remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under constant monitoring and critical care.

The costs of his hospitalization, surgery, ICU care, dialysis, medications, and ongoing treatment are extremely overwhelming. As a community that he has taught, guided, and inspired, we are appealing for your kindness and help.
