Help Rica Get a Stem Cell Transplant for AML

My name is Jordan, and I am raising funds for my 14‑year‑old daughter, Rica Wynona Calderon.
Rica was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in June 2025 and has already gone through a long and difficult series of chemotherapy. After months of treatment, we were told she had achieved remission. It was the happiest moment our family had experienced—we truly believed the hardest part was behind us.
Earlier this year, we received devastating news: the leukemia has returned.
Her doctors explained that Rica’s best chance of survival now is a Stem Cell Transplant (BMT/SCT). This procedure offers hope for a long‑term cure, but the cost of the transplant, hospital care, medicines, and follow‑up treatment is around ₱3,000,000—an amount our family simply cannot afford on our own.
We are raising funds to help cover these medical expenses so Rica can undergo the transplant as soon as possible. Every donation will go directly toward her treatment and care.
As parents, asking for help is never easy, but for our daughter, we are willing to do everything we can. Any amount, any share, and any prayer means more to us than words can express. Your support gives Rica hope—and gives our family strength.

Another Tough Day, But Rica Keeps Fighting

With her latest CBC results showing very low counts, Rica had to receive a pack of red blood cells and 6 units of platelets. These are the effects she’s facing after her chemotherapy, and while it’s tough, she continues to fight with so much strength and courage.
We humbly ask everyone to please continue keeping Rica in your prayers and supporting her as she battles this difficult journey against AML. Every prayer, every message, and every bit of support means so much to us.

Your Kindness in Action: Rica’s Chemo Update

With the help we have received, we were able to purchase the chemotherapy medications that Rica urgently needs for her re-induction treatment—Azacitidine and Venetoclax—which cost a total of 100,000 pesos. She is currently confined in the hospital, undergoing a 7-day infusion of Azacitidine and a 14-day course of Venetoclax.
We are deeply grateful for your support and generosity. We humbly ask that you continue to stand with us, both through your prayers and assistance, as Rica continues her fight for healing. This phase is especially critical as she prepares for her stem cell transplant. We remain hopeful that these medications will help bring her back into remission and allow her to move forward with the SCT.
