Hi, I’m Jonalyn Francisco, 26 years old from Cavite.

If you saw me walking down the street, you would probably never imagine that I have a heart condition. I’m cheerful, active, and I always try to live life with a smile. But behind that smile is a diagnosis of Congenital Heart Disease (Patent Ductus Arteriosus or PDA).

Earlier this year, I was preparing to work abroad to build a better future for myself and my family. During my pre-employment medical examinations, I was asked to undergo additional heart tests. That’s when I learned that I need a PDA Device Closure Procedure before I can continue pursuing my dream.

The estimated cost of the procedure is ₱291,216.18, which is more than I can afford. I am currently seeking assistance from government agencies while looking for a new job, but I still need help to make this procedure possible.
