I need ₱198,000 to release my college diploma and transcript before I lose my job in January 2027.
Hello everyone,
After 15 years at my company, I’m being laid off in January 2027 because of the company’s business losses. I now have to find a new job, but I can’t apply properly without the one document I’ve never been able to get: my official transcript of records.
Why I don’t have my diploma
I grew up in a struggling household. My mother was a housewife and my stepfather had no stable work. Thanks to my grandfather, a World War II veteran, I received a PVAO scholarship that was meant to cover my tuition in full.
In 2005, a policy change put a ceiling on that coverage, and a large part of my tuition was suddenly no longer paid for. I kept going anyway, with extensions, special arrangements, and promissory notes. I finished every subject without a single failing grade.
When I was done, my family couldn’t pay the remaining ₱198,000. The school requires the full balance to be settled before it releases my diploma and transcript.
Twenty years of putting family first
I started working before I even graduated and became my family’s main provider. Nearly all of my income has gone to:
Sending my siblings through school
Daily meals and household needs
Getting us through every emergency
Over the years, I moved between jobs by promising employers I would submit my documents once I had saved enough. That day never came, because my family always needed the money first. I’m not asking for help because I was careless. I’m asking because I always chose them.
Where your donation goes
₱198,000: paid directly to the university’s cashier/finance office to release my transcript and diploma. I will post the official receipt here as an update.
Any extra will go toward basic living costs while I look for work, and I will report how it was used.
What this makes possible
With my documents in hand, I can apply for jobs in BPO with the credentials I earned long ago, and start rebuilding my own savings for the first time.
How you can help
Donate: any amount brings me closer to my goal before January.
Share: please pass this link to friends, coworkers, and your networks.
Thank you for reading my story. After 20 years of carrying my family, your help would let me finally close this chapter.
