Bong is our 8 year old Aspin. He has brought light and joy to our family for all those years. For the past few weeks he has not been feeling well. He has been struggling to eat and even stand up properly. Two days ago we found blood dripping from his mouth and only had time to take him to the vet clinic today. The tests showed that he has chronic kidney disease, a common illness among older dogs.

An estimate of 6,000 pesos has already been spent so far on his clinical bill (including the consultation and initial testing and treatments). This does not yet cover all the medication and other treatments that he still needs to recover. For the meantime, Bong is staying at home and constantly being monitored.
