Graham isn’t just any feral, he’s one of the strongest cats I know.

I've been feeding Graham for years now. He is a loud and elusive furball who is hard to catch. I set up an outdoor shelter right outside my home so Graham and the other strays would always have a dry, safe place to sleep during heatwaves or storm.

He went missing for a few days and came back hiding deep inside the shelter, quiet and weak, not running up for his meal like he always does. When I checked up on him, I discovered that he had a massive, raw wound on the back of his leg, likely from a territorial fight. Or so I thought. The vet has since confirmed that this was not from a fight, but the result of a hit-and-run.

Graham is currently confined at a trusted veterinary hospital fighting for his life. His bloodwork showed inflammation and dehydration. And his x-ray showed serious internal trauma, he is suffering from an impacted hernia and internal complications that will require urgent surgery. His emergency hospitalization, specialized care, and surgery are rapidly accumulating costs.

Graham fought hard to make it to our home for help. Let’s get him through this so he can finally come home and delight us again with his daily loud meows.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
