Hello, everyone. This is Miah Balowa.

On July 9, 2026, I gave birth to my son at 35 weeks, making him a premature baby. Instead of bringing him home with us, he had to stay in the NICU because he needed special care and close monitoring.

The doctors found that my baby had pneumonia and breathing problems. He needed oxygen support and was closely monitored by the doctors and nurses. He was also intubated at the beginning of his NICU stay because he needed help with his breathing. Thankfully, he has been fighting and showing us how strong he is.

My baby has now been in the NICU since July 9 and is still confined at St. Mary’s Maternity Child Hospital in Iligan City, and we are still fighting with him every single day. He is such a little fighter, and we are doing everything we can to give him the care and treatment he needs.

Because of his long stay in the hospital, our hospital bill has already reached ₱400,000+, and it continues to increase every day. We also have to pay for laboratory tests almost every day, medicines, oxygen support, and other medical needs to make sure that he is properly monitored and treated.

As his parents, we never imagined that we would face such a difficult situation. The hospital expenses are becoming too much for our family, but we are not giving up. We will do everything we can for our little fighter.

We are humbly asking for any amount of financial help to support his hospital bills and continuing treatment. Even a small amount can make a big difference for our baby. If you are unable to donate, sharing this post with your friends and family would already mean so much to us.
