From Struggle to Hope: A Humble Appeal for Help

Good day.

My name is Gregorio Naz, 32 years old. With deep humility, I am writing this letter to respectfully reach out and ask for any kind of assistance or donation that may help me start a new chapter in my life.

I grew up in Payatas B, Quezon City near the Payatas dumpsite. I was adopted by an elderly couple, and until now I have never known my biological parents. Because of their old age, they entrusted me to their son and his partner, who later married so that I could have a proper name and identity.

When I was in Grade Two, the man I recognized as my father passed away. Not long after, my adoptive mother remarried. I was then returned to my grandparents on my father’s side. Sadly, my grandfather also passed away when I was in Grade Four. My grandmother became the person who truly raised and cared for me. Together with the people I came to consider my real relatives, she became my guide, my strength, and my inspiration in life. Through the help of a foundation that supported my education, I was able to continue my studies.

For eleven (11) years, everything I earned from my work was dedicated to supporting my family and relatives, especially for their education and daily needs. My goal in working was never only for myself, but to help uplift and support the people I considered my family.

However, when my beloved grandmother passed away, everything suddenly changed. I was eventually rejected and asked to leave the house by my aunts, because my cousins had already started their own families and were the ones living there. Since I am adopted and not related to them by blood, I no longer had a place to stay. Since then, I have been moving from one place to another, trying to find somewhere I could temporarily stay. Although my story may sound unusual to others, the truth is that I am sincerely struggling with my current situation.

Another challenge I face is my health condition, which requires regular maintenance and medical care. Because of this, I humbly request that my identity be treated with discretion and privacy for my safety. Nevertheless, I am willing to cooperate and provide any information necessary for transparency and verification of my situation.

At present, my greatest dream is simply to have a small place I can call my own and begin living a peaceful and dignified life again. Even something as simple as house rights to a small home would already be a tremendous blessing for me. With all humility in my heart, I am knocking on your kind hearts, hoping that someone may have compassion and be willing to help me. Any form of help, no matter how small, will mean so much to me and will be used responsibly to rebuild my life and secure a place I can finally call home.
