My name is Nica Garachico, a mother of three, a full-time employee, and a working student who is set to graduate this coming September. I have always worked hard to provide a better future for my family, but today I find myself facing a medical battle that I cannot overcome alone.

In February 2026, while I was three months pregnant, I was diagnosed with Acute Pericarditis, a serious heart condition that led to my hospitalization. Further tests and consultations revealed that I also have Pericardial Effusion, a condition where fluid accumulates around the heart and requires close monitoring due to the risk of complications.

Because my pregnancy is considered high-risk, both my cardiologist and obstetrician have advised that I deliver my baby in Manila under the care of a perinatologist who specializes in managing complex pregnancies. Recently, I also experienced episodes of passing out, which my cardiologist considers a serious warning sign that requires further cardiac evaluation and treatment after delivery.

I am raising ₱250,000 to help cover the costs of my high-risk delivery, specialist consultations, hospital expenses, medications, diagnostic tests, and the cardiac procedures that I will need after giving birth. As a working student and the mother of three children, these unexpected medical expenses are beyond what my family can afford on our own.

My children are my greatest motivation. Every day, I fight not only for myself but for the opportunity to continue being their mother, to watch them grow, guide them through life, and give them the future they deserve.

Any donation, regardless of the amount, will make a meaningful difference in helping me access the medical care that both my baby and I urgently need. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing my fundraiser and keeping us in your prayers would mean just as much.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult time. Your help gives me hope, strength, and the chance to continue fighting for my family.
