My mother "Estrella" (her photo is in the profile pic) has been battling an unknown illness since late 2024, with her hemoglobin decreasing to an alarming state where she always needs to receive blood transfusions. She was confined 3 times in just a year, where she got infectious diseases, with the worst case getting her to the ICU, intubated, and staying in the hospital for 3 months. We thought at first that she had internal bleeding; then we consulted with a specialist who is an Adult Hematologist and referred us to undergo Bone Marrow aspiration and biopsy. Then we got the bad news: she has bone marrow/blood cancer, or multiple myeloma. It was devastating for us.

Multiple Myeloma is widely considered one of the most expensive illnesses to treat. We've exhausted all our resources already during hospitalizations, and she needs to continue further checkups and treatment.

With that said, we are reaching out to whoever has a golden heart and is willing to share their help and support for my mother's treatment plan and maintenance (injections, supplements) to prolong her life. She's been in hardship her entire life, and she still wants to live longer so that she can spend and enjoy more time with us until she's ready to face our Creator. Though she's old already, we love our mother very much, and though we have no perfect relationships within the family but we're on the same page that we only have one mother, and we're fighting with her in her battle until her last strength and breath.
