My mother was diagnosed Stage 3 pancreatic cancer last August 2025, before that she was experiencing acid reflux and stomachaches. She was taking antacids but still having attacks especially at night, at first we noticed that she was losing weight and we thought maybe it's because she was reducing her food intakes. Then my sister suggested that we need to get her checked to be sure what was going on with her, we were not contented about the first result so we decided to take her to another hospital and we found out it was cancer and it was already stage 3. She had her first operation last August 2025 but the tumor wasn't removed and the doctor informed us that the tumor was malignant. She was then started chemotherapy treatment (12 sessions, 2x/month) we were trying to reach out from our other family members and friends to help us on our financial problems, others helped us and we were thankful for that. She was able to finish 10 sessions but then the doctor advised us to hold the last 2 sessions because my mom's hand and feet were already numbing so much that she whenever she was eating she suddenly without realizing dropped her food on the floor. We thought she was getting better because she was following the doctors order, the MRI and CT SCAN results said that the tumor was getting smaller (July 2026), she was having back pains that cannot be cured even with pain relievers, we told the doctors about that and they just gave her painkillers (July 2026), then August 2026 she scheduled for another operation, we were hoping and praying that the tumor will be removed and she'll be cancer free after that surgery but then it didn't happen. The doctor said that they weren't able to remove the tumor again because it grew big, we realized that the ct scans and MRIs failed to detect the tumor accurately. She will undergo another chemotherapy again anytime and we already do not know where to seek financial help because medical bills are so expensive. We tried seeking help through the government, they told us to go here and there and still ended up getting no help from them. Our minimum wage salary is not enough to fund my mom's medical bill even with out health benefits, we already tried taking up loans but it's still not enough to cover the expenses and the upcoming bills for the therapy. We love our mom so much and we would do anything for her to recover and be cancer free. Please please please help us. We appreciate your help and may God Bless you and return your good deeds tenfold.
