Build a Lasting Legacy with Saint Padre Pio Church - Bagumbong

Dear Sir/Madam,

Peace of Christ be with you.

I pray that this letter finds you and your loved ones in good health and under God’s loving care.

As the Parish Priest of Padre Pio Parish in Bagumbong, Caloocan City, I write to you not only as a priest but as a fellow believer who has witnessed, day after day, how deeply people long for a place where they can encounter God.

Every Sunday, I see families come together to pray. I bless infants as they begin their journey of faith through Baptism. I stand before young couples as they promise a lifetime of love before God. I comfort grieving families as they entrust their departed loved ones to the Lord. These sacred moments remind me that a parish church is not merely a building. It is where faith takes root, where hope is renewed, and where God’s presence becomes tangible in the lives of His people.

Our parish community has grown tremendously over the years, and with this growth comes the responsibility to build a permanent church that can truly serve the spiritual needs of our people. It is a dream we have carried in our hearts for many years, and today, by God’s grace, we have begun turning that dream into reality.

The construction of our new church is estimated to cost Php 58 million. For a parish like ours, this is an enormous undertaking. There are moments when I look at the magnitude of the project and ask myself how we will accomplish it. Yet every time I celebrate the Holy Eucharist, I am reminded that God never abandons the work He has begun. He moves through the generosity of people whose hearts are willing to become instruments of His providence.

It is with this faith that I humbly knock on your heart.

I respectfully ask if you would consider becoming one of the benefactors of this mission. Your support, whether through a financial donation, construction materials, professional services, or any form of assistance, will help build not only a church, but a spiritual home that will serve countless families for generations.

Perhaps years from now, a child baptized in this church may grow to become a priest, a religious sister, a faithful parent, or a person who brings hope to others. A young couple will begin their married life before its altar.

A weary soul will find comfort in silent prayer. A family burdened by trials will rediscover hope within its walls. Though they may never know your name, their prayers and lives will forever be connected to your generosity.
