“Help Me Continue My Education and Reach My Dreams
Campaign ending soon
Hello, my name is Sophia, and I am 18 years old. I am currently a Grade 12 Senior High School student taking the HUMSS strand. I am the eldest among three siblings, and I am writing this with hope that someone might be willing to help me continue the education that means so much to me.
Growing up, I have always believed that education could give me and my family a better future. My dream is to finish Senior High School, continue to college, and someday become a police officer. I want to build a stable future not only for myself, but also for my family and my younger siblings.
Unfortunately, that dream is becoming harder to reach because of our financial situation.
My mother is the one struggling to keep all three of us in school. She works as a cleaning lady in a public market toilet, doing difficult work to earn enough for our family's daily needs. I see how hard she works, yet there are times when what she earns is simply not enough to cover everything we need.
Because of this, my family has reached the point where they have considered having me stop studying. As the eldest, I understand why they are thinking about it. I know they are doing their best, and I don't blame them. Sometimes, I feel guilty knowing that my education is another expense they have to carry while my two younger siblings also need to stay in school.
But deep inside, I am afraid of having to give up on my dream.
I have worked hard to reach Grade 12, and I am so close to finishing Senior High School. I don't want financial hardship to be the reason I have to stop now. I want the chance to graduate, go to college, and continue working toward becoming a police officer.
I am reaching out because I need help with my school expenses, transportation, allowance, school requirements, and eventually the expenses involved in continuing to college.
Every contribution, regardless of its amount, could help me take another step toward finishing my education. Even a small amount could help me with something as simple as transportation to school, a school requirement, or my daily allowance. And if you cannot donate, simply sharing my campaign could help it reach someone who can.
I dream of a day when I can look back at this difficult time and know that I didn't give up.
I also dream of someday being able to help my younger siblings in the same way I am hoping someone will help me now. I want to finish my education, build a career, and eventually become someone my family can depend on.
I am not asking for an easy life. I am only asking for the opportunity to continue fighting for my future.
