Hello friends, family, and chess community,

My name is Adrian Dela Cruz, an untitled chess player dedicated to reaching the pinnacle of competitive chess. I currently hold a FIDE Standard rating of 1950 and a FIDE Rapid rating of 2115. My immediate goal is to earn the National Master (NM) title, with the ultimate lifelong dream of becoming a Grandmaster (GM).

To make this leap, I need to consistently test myself against the country's best in official FIDE-rated events.

My Next Big Milestone: Cebu (September 2026)

I am raising funds to compete in the upcoming PSC-NCFP Selection National Chess Championships Elimination (Visayas Leg) being held at the GMall of Cebu from September 26 to 28, 2026. This critical qualifying tournament uses an 8-round Swiss system and is a vital step toward securing a place on the Philippine National Team.

Because I am currently rated below 2099 Standard, I am fully eligible to compete in this division and fight for a qualifying spot.

Where Your Donations Will Go

Chess at a high level requires significant travel, accommodation, and registration costs. Your support will directly fund:

Tournament Entry & Registration: Official NCFP membership and event fees.

Travel Expenses: Round-trip transport to Cebu City.

Accommodation: 3 nights of lodging near the venue to stay rested for the demanding 2-to-3-rounds-a-day schedule.

Food & Training: Nutrition during the tournament and high-level training tools.
